Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Explosion Recorded Live On CCTV In Bangalore

Where Xiaomi is becoming popular in today’s smartphone industry, some of their most popular handsets are catching fire randomly. This is not for first time. We have heard multiple news of Xiaomi phone explosion previously. But, never seen any video of explosion. Because most of the them were happening where users were using their phones in normal life. But this time, the live video of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 explosion have been recorded in the CCTV camera of a mobile shop situated in Bangalore, India.

The other surprising fact about this Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 explosion is, most of the time, we have heard that, we should not use our phones during charging them. But, in this case, a boy was inserting a sim card in the phone and suddenly some big flames started coming out of the phone. This video proves that, explosion can happen anytime even when we are not charging our phone.

Fortunately, nobody got injured during the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 explosion. Arjun, the owner of the phone has confirmed the news and he also filed a case against Xiaomi in the local police station of Bangalore. The whole incident happened at around 10:30PM on 17 July. Right after the incident, owner send the phone to a Xiaomi service center. But he got neither the cause of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 explosion nor any response yet.

Reportedly, that was the 3GB RAM version of Redmi Note 4 which is a very popular budget phone from Xiaomi, launched this year. The phone was bought on 1st June from a Poorvika store situated in Bengalore. The video caught on the CCTV camera of the shop has been uploaded on Youtube and it got over 55,000 views till now. Now, this will be a big obstacle for users to trust on smartphones made by Xiaomi. After all, this is a very serious issue and it can even take user’s life.
