Reserve Bank Of India has recently cleared the proposal to start the printing process of Rs 200 new note in India. One of the specimen Rs 200 new note image is also moving around the web. The decision is already taken by the RBI earlier in March this year. Reportedly, it is also said that the printing process of Rs 200 new note in India will be started from first week of July 2017.

But the real new 200 rs note India will be very similar to this specimen. Earlier this year, we also heard about new Rs 300 Indian note which is completely fake. RBI has never told anything about that. But this time, the news of Rs 200 new note in India is absolutely true because RBI itself told this to the media.
Getting Started With Rs 200 New Note In India
On 8th November 2016, Indian government announced the demonetization which is also known as currency ban in India. And because of that, all the old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes converted into piece of normal paper within a very short span of time. Nobody were accepting old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes followed by the notice of Indian government. India felt a sudden lack of most used currency notes.
But very soon, RBI started printing new Rs 500 and Rs 2000 currency notes and now we are also using these notes for regular transactions. But still, there are the lack of Rs 1000 note and offline transactions are not very smooth yet. So, Reserve Bank Of India has taken decision to circulate Rs 200 new note in India very soon and the printing of Rs 200 new note in India will start from next month (July) this year.

Right after the demonetization program on 8th November 2016, Indian government started pushing peoples in the way of cashless transactions. So, RBI is likely to not increase the use of physical currency to the level where India were before the demonetization program. Indian government has also introduced some incentives to increase cashless transactions in India. Some of them are Bharat Interface For Money app, Aadhaar enabled payments, Rupay Kisan cards, no transaction fee on digital payments, etc.
