Bharti Airtel was the number one telecom operator in India before the launch of Reliance Jio. Just after the launch, every other telecom operators started getting huge customer loss. But now, Airtel is trying it’s best to take on Jio by providing similar benefits to it’s customers. Recently, Airtel has launched Rs 293 and Rs 449 plans where users will get 1GB of 4G data per day for 84 days.
At first, Jio was providing completely free data and even free Jio sim cards (also available now). But now Jio Summer Surprise and Dhan Dhana Dhan offer has almost reached to the end. In our previous article, we have shown how users can check the last date of Jio Summer Surprise and Dhan Dhana Dhan offer. From now, Jio users will have to pay money on regular basis. So, Airtel just taken advantage of this and launched it’s own offers which are very similar to Jio’s running and upcoming plans.
Airtel Rs 293 & Rs 449 Plan Details
These two new plans are very similar to it’s previous offer. We can notice some major changes in the new plans. Previously, Airtel was providing half of data as day usage and half as night usage. But now, users will get the whole 1GB 4G data on day time every day for 84 days. And the small difference between these two new plans are, on Rs 293 plan users will get free unlimited Airtel to Airtel calling minutes. But in Rs 449 plan, the calling is not limited to Airtel only, users will get local and STD calling (any network) as well.
Airtel 293 Offer Details
Users are getting 1GB 4G data per day with unlimited A-A calling minutes. The validity of this plan is 84 days. No SMS benefits will be provided with Airtel Rs 293 plan. Users will not get free A-A calling on roaming.
Airtel 449 Plan Details
Users will get 1GB 4G data per day, unlimited voice calling to any network, free calling to local and STD numbers. It’s validity is also set to 84 days. No roaming facilities has been provided. Voice calling over roaming is not free.
How To Activate Airtel Rs 249 Or Rs 449 Plan?
It’s very easy to activate any of these new airtel plans. Just make sure that you have an active Airtel 4G sim card. If you don’t have, then get a new one or simply upgrade your existing Airtel sim to 4G by visiting your nearest Airtel retail store. You can recharge with Rs 249 or Rs 449 plan by visiting the retail store or using any online payment provider like Paytm or Mobikwik.
